Down we go!

Mexican Hat, near the Monument Valley

Train on the scenic Cumbres Toltec Railroad

We escaped just ahead of the snow and foul weather and it has been hot on our trail ever since. We have been watching the weather chanel every night to see where we should be going next to avoid the cold and snow. It took us down through Washington, Utah and the Zions, Arizona and Monument Valley and finally into New Mexico and the friendly little town of Chama where the snow caught up with us temporally. A beautifully scenic route that now will take us down into Mexico and the Copper Canyon, hopefully tomarrow.

Here we go at last

With a few delays under our belt we are finely on our way. Snow in the forcast on the passes, boy heading south sounds good!
